What to Expect at ExcelPrep
Everything families need to know before their learner’s first day — from daily essentials to how we assess your child’s unique needs.
Uniforms Required
All ExcelPrep learners wear uniforms daily. Uniforms help create a focused learning environment and build a sense of community among our students.

Family Orientation & Policies
Before your learner’s first day, every family must complete the following requirements. These ensure a smooth start and help you feel confident and prepared.
ExcelPrep Family Orientation Course
Complete our self-paced orientation course covering program expectations, daily routines, and how to best support your learner’s success at ExcelPrep.
SSLAC Card Training Video
Watch the required SSLAC card video to understand our safety and support protocols. This is mandatory for all caregivers before enrollment begins.
Review All Program Policies
Families must review and acknowledge ExcelPrep’s program policies, including our attendance policy, code of conduct, and anti-bullying policy. A safe, respectful environment is our top priority.
Connect to ClassDojo
ClassDojo is our primary communication and announcement system. Families are expected to download the app and connect to their learner’s class before the first day so you never miss an update.
Ongoing Family Courses & Coaching
Families are required to participate in supportive courses and coaching sessions twice per month. These sessions equip you with strategies, tools, and confidence to reinforce your child’s progress at home and strengthen the family-school partnership.
After-Hours Support
After-hours support is available but must be requested in advance. Please plan ahead and submit requests through ClassDojo so we can staff appropriately for your child.
Schedule Confirmation
Your learner’s individualized schedule will be confirmed by their third week. The first two weeks are used for assessment and team planning to build the right program.
